IEP VoiceTracker is an independent product. No investors, no growth team, no roadmap set by someone who has never written a progress report.
Why this exists
There is a gap between what a teacher observes and what eventually reaches a progress report. Most systems are good at storing data. The hard part is capturing it in the three seconds before the next thing happens — while a student is mid-transition, or the room is loud, or both hands are busy.
Everything here follows from that. Voice and tap capture because typing loses the moment. Apple Watch because your phone is across the room. Offline first because school networks are unreliable and a lost observation is gone for good.
Who is behind it
Ramesh — software engineer, and the person who writes every line of this app, answers every support email, and decides what gets built next.
You are not emailing a ticket queue. If something is broken, the person who can fix it is the person who reads your message.
The app is published under an individual Apple Developer account, so my name is the seller name on the App Store. That is deliberate. You are entrusting a product with information about children, and you should know exactly who is on the other end of it.
What I will not do
- Invent progress. Draft narratives are assembled from observations you recorded, and every quantitative claim carries the data points behind it. Nothing is generated by a language model.
- Sell or share student data. Not to advertisers, not to analytics vendors, not to model trainers.
- Claim certifications I do not hold. There is no such thing as being "FERPA certified", and you will not see that phrase here.
- Lock you in. Export to CSV and PDF whenever you want, and delete your account and its data from inside the app.

The roadmap is public — what is built, what is in progress, and what is planned. If something you need is missing, say so and it may move up.
